The popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati ( KBC 7 ) , hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, is back and this time it’s bigger and better. No learning, no winning is the new slogan of KBC 7.
Kaun Banega Crorepati is a television game show in India. It is based on the UK game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. KBC first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, his first appearance on Indian television. KBC initially offered contestants the chance to win up to one crore Rupees, but doubled this in 2001 to two crore Rupees, further adjusted from the fourth season to include a jackpot of 5 crore rupees. The show was well received from the very first season.
This season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati‘ is unique in many ways. Like in the last two seasons, this time too Bachchan’s look will be designed by fashion maestro Rohit Bal. Gudda, as he is popularly known, is the designer who broke AB’s formal dress code by lending colour and a more casual style to his wardrobe. One of the most unique features among all is that Amitabh Bachchan will fashion a new trend by wearing earrings on his shoes.
Also, this season of KBC have five lifelines. The fifth lifeline is called ‘Power Paplu lifeline’. Once the contestants use all the four lifelines, fifth paplu gives them freedom to choose any one of the four lifelines again. Season 7 is maha crorepati and this time the prize is Rs. 7 crores and participants will have to answer 15 questions to win the whopping prize money.. Its back – bigger, better and brighter with format tweaks.
There will be four questions in the new feature “Sapta koti sandook” that will let contestants win from Rs.1 crore to Rs.3 crore, Rs.5 crore and finally Rs.7 crore.
